Chelsea will now look to advance in the FA Cup after reaching the League Cup final this week, but standing in their way is a very good Aston Villa side who are still alive in three competitions this season.
Mauricio Pochettino confirmed Christopher Nkunku who has missed the last four games was back in training, and Malo Gusto who missed the Middlesbrough game is also back at Cobham even though this one comes too soon for both.
He told reporters: "No they [Nkunku and Gusto] could be available for Liverpool on Wednesday. We need to see how they evolve in the next few days. But they're not going to be available tomorrow."
The duo are among 10 players out, including Nicolas Jackson, who remains at the Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal, his country has been paired against host nation the Ivory Coast for the next round.
Marc Cucurella, Reece James, Wesley Fofana, Lesley Ugochukwu, Robert Sanchez and Romeo Lavia are all out injured. Pochettino though will have a big call to make with Conor Gallagher, who has been one of the key players this season starting from the bench against Boro.
Does the Chelsea boss bring him straight back in or keep the side that impressed massively and blew away the Championship side to reach the League Cup final? There is also the call to be made on Ben Chilwell who he said needed to be managed carefully after he returned from a long layoff this month.
With so many crucial decisions to make, here is the team we anticipate the Chelsea boss will put out against Villa.
