These nine Chelsea players are out of contract this summer transfer window including Charly Musonda

The new Chelsea hierarchy will have some big decisions to make this summer - with nine players off contract.

The government sanctions against owner Roman Abramovich midway through the season, due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, caused chaos at Cobham.

Then two cup final defeats to Liverpool left a bitter taste in the month of Blues fans, but they can take respite from the fact that a new dawn is almost here.

Todd Boehly and his consortium are almost ready for take-off, and there will be talk of reinvesting in the squad after rivals Liverpool and Manchester City have already recruited fresh blood.

There is a huge likelihood that the entire process of player recruitment and wages will have to be restructured under the new ownership, but the passion and ambition is likely to be the same, according to Tuchel who has met Boehly.

Others have contracts expiring next summer, so the new owners and their technical team will have to make decisions on them as well.

There are just two games to end the season, the first one this evening against Leicester, and the second against relegated Watford this weekend, before all attention turns to the summer transfer window.

So with the anticipation building and a big summer expected, here is the list of all the Chelsea players and when their current deals expire.
