Chelsea player ratings vs Wolves: 'unbelievable' 9/10, three 7/10s but one 'poor' 4/10 in superb 6-2 win
The Chelsea player ratings from an entertaining game at the Molineux on Sunday afternoon.
Noni Madueke scored his first career hat trick to help Chelsea to a statement-making 6-2 victory against Wolves in the Premier League. Nicolas Jackson opened the scoring with Chelsea’s earliest goal in several years, but Wolves responded through Matheus Cunha.

Palmer then scored a goal that could contend for Goal of the Season, thanks to an incredible pass from Robert Sanchez and a deft touch from Jackson, allowing Palmer to finish brilliantly. Jørgen Strand Larsen equalised with what was essentially the last kick of the first half, making it 2-2.
From there, Noni Madueke took matters into his own hands, bagging a hat trick that secured the win for Chelsea and made Palmer the first Chelsea player to achieve a hat trick of assists since Cesc Fabregas in 2016. Pedro Neto still had time to set up Joao Felix to make it 6-2, capping off what was ultimately a great away day for Chelsea. Here’s how we rated the Chelsea players at Molineux:
Robert Sanchez - 7 Brave goalkeeping early on to deny Cunha. His distribution was spot on.
Marc Cucurella - 5 Solid without being spectacular.
Malo Gusto - 6 One of Chelsea’s impressive signings. Defended well and was equally effective when moving into midfield.
Wesley Fofana - 4 Looked slow, and his decision-making could have been better. Poor for both Wolves goals.
Levi Colwill - 6 Unbelievable block to deny Cunha in the first half. Although Chelsea’s defence was generally weak as a unit, he performed well.
Moises Caicedo - 6 Lost a few battles and didn’t retain possession as much as he or Chelsea would have liked.
Enzo Fernandez - 5 Should have fouled Rayan Aït-Nouri to prevent Wolves' first goal.
Cole Palmer - 6 Unbelievable finish to give Chelsea a 2-1 lead.
Noni Madueke - 9 He was brilliant in attack, looking elegant and menacing. Took his goals well, even benefiting from a huge deflection for the first one. Wolves' worst enemy in more than one way. Unbelievable performance.
Mykhailo Mudryk - 5 Showed his electric pace, but the final ball was once again lacking.
Nicolas Jackson - 7 Scored and assisted in an impressive first half. Quiet second half.
Pedro Neto - 6 Got his assist.
Joao Felix - 7 A joy to watch, with a casual finish. Good debut.
