Chelsea player ratings vs Panathinaikos: one scores perfect 10/10 and plenty of 8s in stunning 4-1 win

The player ratings from Chelsea’s Europa Conference League game against Panathinaikos in Athens.

Chelsea demonstrated their progress under Enzo Maresca by dominating Greek side Panathinaikos 4-1, strengthening their position in the competition. For large parts of the game, Chelsea controlled the tempo, with Joao Felix grabbing a brace and Mykhailo Mudryk providing two assists before scoring himself. Christopher Nkunku also converted from the penalty spot.

Facundo Pellistri scored a consolation goal for the home side. Overall, the performance was impressive, and manager Maresca would have been delighted with how his team performed.

Below are our player ratings for Chelsea's performance:

Filip Jorgensen - 7

Produced a brilliant save early in the game to keep the score at 0-0. He was visibly frustrated when they conceded late, as he wanted that clean sheet.

Axel Disasi - 8

Very vocal and authoritative in a game where he needed to be at his best. He would be disappointed they couldn’t secure a clean sheet.

Benoît Badiashile - 7

Played at the heart of a three-man defence and did well overall, though the lack of a clean sheet remains a concern.

Renato Veiga - 7

Versatile as always, he played in multiple positions, from right back to left back, and even as a midfielder.

Pedro Neto - 7

Not as influential as he was against Liverpool, but he was clinical and demanding. Assisted Mudryk's goal.

Enzo Fernandez - 8

Controlled the game effectively without being put under much pressure. His long passes caused numerous problems for the hosts.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall - 8

Heavily involved in the first two goals and would have loved to get on the scoresheet himself.

Marc Cucurella - 8

An efficient game without needing to do too much. Remarkably, he was close to earning a 10 in some assessments.

Mykhailo Mudryk - 9

Assisted Felix’s first goal, then scored one and provided another assist. He was outstanding throughout.

Joao Felix - 10

Created and finished his first goal, then got a bit lucky for the second. His performance was perfect, and he deserved a hat trick.

Christopher Nkunku - 7

Largely anonymous in the first half and needs to work on being more involved. Managed to score from the spot.

Tyrique George - 6

Brought energy to the game when he came on.

Marc Guiu - 6

He looked bright but just couldn't get his goal.
