Chelsea player ratings vs Manchester City: three score 7/10 and but one 4 in dramatic draw

Chelsea produced another outstanding performance to earn a point against Manchester City in the Premier League.

Chelsea again showed they were beginning to take shape under Mauricio Pochettino with another terrific showing to draw against Manchester City.

It was Manchester City who took the lead despite Chelsea starting the game the better team, Marc Cucurella was penalised for holding Haaland, and the Norwegian striker stepped up to score.

Chelsea responded in terrific fashion, Reece James seeing his free-kick tipped over before Thiago Silva headed home the equaliser.

Raheem Sterling then put Chelsea ahead after being played through by Reece James. Chelsea were dominating the game at this point, but a loss in concentration allowed Manuel Akanji to equalise going into halftime.

Erling Haaland then gave Manchester City the lead immediately after the break but Nicolas Jackson reacted first to level for the Blues again 3-3 game on.

Manchester City thought they had grabbed all three points at the end when Thiago Silva deflected a shot into their own net, but Mauricio Pochettino's decision to bring on Armando Broja helped them win a penalty which Cole Palmer showed incredible calmness to earn the Blues a point.

Chelsea ended the game the better side and as has been the case against some of the big team, Chelsea were brilliant and in what was an instant Premier League classic. Here is how we rated the Chelsea players out there.
