Chelsea showed commitment and endeavours to dominate Leicester and take all three points at the King Power Stadium.

Chelsea continued their tradition of not losing a Premier League game when leading at halftime, extending their unbeaten run to 30 matches. At the King Power Stadium, Nicolas Jackson gave them the lead with a truly lethal strike.

The only disappointing aspect of the game was that Chelsea weren’t out of sight based on the dominance of their first-half performance. Leicester improved in the second half and stayed in the game, occasionally looking dangerous. However, Enzo Fernandez's goal was the final blow for Leicester, providing Chelsea with the cushion they needed, so when Romeo Lavia caused a penalty and Jordan Ayew stepped up to score and make it 2-1, it was only a consolation rather than a fight back.

Below is how we rated the Chelsea players out there:

Robert Sanchez – 6

Kicking still suspect, but barely had much to do.

Marc Cucurella – 7

There’s a reason every Chelsea manager has liked him. He presses so well and is aggressive, making him effective even when he doesn't have the ball. Barely put a foot wrong here.

Benoit Badiashile – 7

Stepped in for Gusto and played in the centre of the three at the back. Passed well and was solid defensively, not giving anything away. He's improving.

Levi Colwill – 6

Strong and uncompromising in tackles, and he was able to break the lines with some beautiful passes.

Enzo Fernandez – 7

The Argentine was back in the starting lineup after impressing from the bench. Played in a slightly advanced role, contributing with a goal and an assist.

Noni Madueke – 6

Thought he had scored when he was teed up by Cucurella, but VAR ruled it offside.

Joao Felix – 6

Made his first league start of the season in place of Pedro Neto. Played well without necessarily standing out as the main man.

Nicolas Jackson – 8

Absolutely clinical once again, showcasing his finishing ability with the opening goal. He also created another chance to test the goalkeeper in the second half.

Cole Palmer – 7

Lucky to avoid a serious injury after a rough challenge from Wilfred Ndidi on his ankle. Still looked dangerous going forward.

Moises Caicedo – 6

Frustrated not to have been awarded a foul for a pressing challenge, but he remained his usual energetic self, constantly pushing the team forward. Very stable at the moment.

Wesley Fofana – 7

For the first time, he looked entirely pain-free, which was great to see. Dominated his area defensively.

Christopher Nkunku- 6

Played alongside Jackson, showing aggression and intensity, though he didn’t get on the scoresheet.

Caused the penalty.

He got the last five minutes, returning to the ground where he was such a massive success.
