Chelsea player ratings from their Europa Conference League game against Heidenheim on Thursday night.

Chelsea faced their toughest test in the Europa Conference League against Heidenheim, but the Blues defied the storm to secure a win that all but guarantees their progression to the next round. They remain top of the table and well on their way to the next stage of the competition.

Christopher Nkunku, who was forced off due to injury, opened the scoring, before a sublime finish from Mykhailo Mudryk late on sealed the victory. Below is how we rated the Chelsea players out there.

Filip Jorgensen - 8

Impressive first half, and he would have been delighted with the clean sheet. Made some crucial saves in the second half to keep Chelsea in control.

Benoit Badiashile - 6

A difficult first half, but when Chelsea got going, it was hard to stop them. Badiashile showed resilience as the game progressed.

Tosin Adarabioyo - 7

Chelsea's best player in the first half, when many others were struggling. Solid defensively and composed on the ball.

Axel Disasi - 7

Played a key role in winning the ball that led to the first goal. Strong defensive performance throughout.

Renato Veiga - 6

A versatile utility player. Played at left-back and performed well without looking out of place.

Cesare Casadei - 5

Decent performance, though he didn’t have any standout moments. He would be disappointed to have been sent off.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall - 5

Not a natural playmaker, but you can see why he was a success at Leicester. With more game time, his contributions should improve. Satisfactory performance.

Jadon Sancho - 7

Good to have him back after his recent injury issues. When he took on his man, he looked dangerous, and set up both Chelsea goals on the night.

Christopher Nkunku - 7

Missed a couple of chances in the first half but was clinical in his finishing. Five goals in four Conference League games. Had another chance to add to his tally but couldn’t convert.

Mykhailo Mudryk - 8

Looked lively in the second half after what seemed like a penalty-worthy challenge in the first. His finish to seal the win was sublime.

Disappointed not to have influenced the game as he would have liked. His effort was there, but his application needed more.

Brought a lot of life to the game.

Looked very decent when he came on.
