Chelsea came from behind to win 2-1 against Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League on Wednesday night. The visitors started brightly and took the lead through Petkovic but the goal seemed to be the wake up call Chelsea were looking out for to get going.
Raheem Sterling who had not scored since Graham Potter’s first game finished off brilliantly to level for the Blues 10 minutes later before debutant Denis Zakaria put his side ahead after a cut back from Mason Mount.
With the rain bouncing off the turf at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea created enough to have increased the score but wasteful finishing and some brilliant goalkeeping kept the scoreline decent even if it did not help Zagreb’s quest of qualifying to the Europa League any good.
