Kepa Arrizabalaga-4

Nice save from a Benzema shot early on in the first half, then produced a couple of fabulous saves before conceding what looked like a soft second goal.

Reece James-4

Still looks someway off his best but he got forward every now and then in the first half.

Ben Chilwell-3

Gave the ball away a few times at the start of the game before being sent off for pulling Rodrygo right at the edge of the Chelsea box almost midway through the second half.

Wesley Fofana-5

Good confident defending early on despite being on a yellow card. Unlucky the second goal came through his legs.

Kalidou Koulibaly-5

Strong start to the game before being caught out of position a few times by Rodrygo. Fabulous speed to cut off Rodrigo when he was through on goal. Looked like he picked up a hamstring injury and was replaced by Cucurella.

Thiago Silva-4

Great goal line clearance from the Chelsea captain in the first half. Tried to use his experience to great effect before Chelsea conceded the second goal.

Enzo Fernandez-4

Enzo was good when he had the ball but the only criticisms is what he does without it. Needs to dominate games and retain possession better.

Mateo Kovacic-5

Plenty of will and determination, used his experience to slow down the game especially with Chelsea a man down. Battled well.

N’Golo Kante-5

Chelsea’s game relied on his breakout instincts but there times when you could see he just wasn’t match fit. Another week to get ready.

Joao Felix-4

Brilliant break-away chance in the first minute of the game, where he drew a comfortable save from Thibaut Courtois in the end. Didn’t have much to do after that. Disappointing game.

Raheem Sterling-4

Plenty of running but didn’t have the desired effect he or Lampard would have wanted.

Marc Cucurella- 4

Two great interceptions after coming on. Decent outing.

Conor Gallagher- 3

A second half substitute who pressed well.

Trevoh Chalobah-4

Won his aerial duals and tucked in comfortably at the back.

Kai Havertz- N/A

Offered little with his team a player down.
