Chelsea might do something they've never done under Todd Boehly to secure Michael Olise from Crystal Palace

Chelsea thought they secured the signing of Michael Olise last summer when they triggered his £35 million release clause, but the former Reading man decided against the move and instead signed a new four-year deal at Selhurst, earning £100k-a-week wages.
His new deal has meant Palace were able to insert a higher release clause in his contract, with reports suggesting clubs might have to pay £65 million to buy him this summer. Chelsea have been keen all summer, but Manchester City and Newcastle, who finished three points behind Chelsea, have also been strongly linked.

The Sun is now reporting that Chelsea are happy to involve winger Noni Madueke or defender Trevoh Chalobah in the negotiations if that would soften Palace’s stance as talks continue for a player Chelsea values very highly.
Olise spent seven years in the Chelsea academy before leaving at 14, and his brother, Richard, is still in the youth setup. He was recently spotted watching his younger brother at Chelsea as rumours around him continue.
Last season, Olise scored 10 goals and made six assists in 19 games at the club. The season before that, he had 11 assists, the only player outside of the top six to record such numbers as Palace finished 11th, one place above Chelsea in the league.
He was surprisingly left out of the France squad for the Euros, but he’s been named in the Olympic squad managed by former Arsenal legend Thierry Henry. Reports suggest that Palace are determined to keep hold of him this summer and are contemplating offering him another deal with better terms than the one he signed 12 months ago.
