The Blues will also have an eye on the deadline, with more incoming and outgoing deals likely at Stamford Bridge. Here we round up all the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding both of the London clubs.

New Osimhen bid

Chelsea are now said to have submitted an offer for Victor Osimhen, following up reports that they had sent a contract proposal to the Napoli superstar. Gazzetta say Chelsea have now matched Al Ahli’s bid of £58.8million.

Napoli were said to want around £84million for the striker, but they have reportedly dropped their asking price to £60million in a bid to seal a deal this summer. The report adds that Chelsea’s wage offer remains low at this stage, while the Saudi club are said to have offered £25million per year for four years.

Sterling latest

Manchester United are said to be pushing for a deal to land Chelsea’s Raheem Sterling, who has been told he is no longer wanted at the club due to Enzo Maresca wanting a ‘different type of winger’.

Fabrizio Romano told Give Me Sport: "Now it's on United, so United internally are discussing Sterling, what Ten Hag thinks, what the board thinks, what INEOS people think. So internal discussion at Manchester United [are] about the Raheem Sterling swap deal topic for Jadon Sancho. Then at the same time, there is a club in concrete negotiations for Jadon Sancho, and that club is Juventus."

Reguilon to depart

Sergio Reguilon is expected to move on from Tottenham this summer after spending last season out on loan. It’s unclear whether Spurs will find a permanent sale, an option they will prefer due to the full-back’s contract being up next summer, but it seems an exit in some form is inevitable.

“Not only Gio Lo Celso: Sergio Reguilón also prepared to leave Spurs before the end of the window,” Romano tweeted. “Talks ongoing to pick the best option.”
