Chelsea vs Man Utd confirmed final injury news as 11 ruled out and 2 doubts for Premier League clash
All the confirmed injury news surrounding Chelsea and Manchester United as they prepare to face off in the Premier League.
Chelsea are back in action on Friday night when they face Manchester United knowing they almost certainly need to win to stay in control of their own destiny in their race for the Champions League. The Blues are in the driving seat for fifth place, but only goal difference ahead of Aston Villa, they know they likely need to win both of their remaining games to finish the job.

Friday night’s opponents United have endured a disastrous league campaign, but they can still qualify for the Champions League by winning Wednesday night’s Europa League final with Tottenham. Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim is faced with a dilemma here, able to rest key players, but he has warned that he wants to keep players in rhythm. He said in his pre-match press conference: “If there is a player that can get an injury [and is] not recovered for this game so [it] will put him in risk for the final, he will not play.
“But if it’s not that situation, we will have a lot of time to recover, and we cannot spend eight days, nine days without a game. That is a bad thing for the final so I think they will be prepared for the game.”
Leny Yoro - Out
Amorim has said of Yoro and De Ligt: "I don't know if they are going to be available. We are going to try to push because it's the final matches and this is a final.” There is next to no chance Amorim will risk either player here if they have a chance of returning for the final.
Mathijs De Ligt - Out
The same update applies to De Ligt.
Lisandro Martinez - Out
Martinez will be out until 2026 with another serious knee injury. Ruben Amorim has said: “Licha is a difficult situation. He's going to be out for a while. We don't know the extent of the injury, but it's an injury that is going to take time.”
Joshua Zirkzee - Out
Amorim has confirmed Zirkzee is out for the season, explaining: “So, he’s not going to play more this season. Let’s prepare him for the next one. It’s tough, especially in this moment. I think he’s improving in all aspects of the game, so it’s hard for any player to stop.”
Diogo Dalot - Out
Amorim has said in a fresh update: “Dalot is trying really bad. I don't want to risk Dalot because, when you start getting one injury, second injury [follows] and it's a big thing. We cannot have these kinds of problems in our squad. So, we will see, but he's working really hard to get in the final."
Ayden Heaven - Out
Speaking in late April, Amorim simply said: “Ayden is not ready.” United have confirmed that Heaven will remain out here.
Toby Collyer - Doubt
The United website has confirmed that Collyer has been in full training and could be in contention.
Jonny Evans - Doubt
The United website has confirmed that Evans has returned to contention and could be available here.
Nicolas Jackson - Out (Suspended)
Jackson is suspended after his red card during the Newcastle United defeat. Maresca has said of the suspension: “We don’t have Nico for this game and we are working on that. These are the options we have, unfortunately we don’t have many options [to play as a striker].”
Wesley Fofana - Out
Fofana will not return this season, with Maresca having said: “Unfortunately, Wes will be out for the rest of the season.”
Omari Kellyman - Out
Kellyman has confirmed he will miss the end of the season, writing on social media: “Beyond gutted to say that this season has come to an early end for me due to a re-injury of my hamstring. 24-25 has been a tough season for me mentally and physically due to injury, but it’s important now that I take time to get this right.”
Marc Guiu - Fit
Guiu is not fit to start, but he is available. Maresca has said: “Unfortunately, Marc Guiu is still coming back from injury. He has started to train with us recently but is not ready to start. So we are working on different options for Friday night in the absence of Nico.”
Christopher Nkunku - Out
Maresca confirmed in his press conference: “Christo [Nkunku] is still out.”
Reece James - Fit
Maresca has confirmed: “Reece James is now okay, he was out with illness for two [training] sessions. Yesterday he had a session with us, which is good.”
Mykhailo Mudryk - Out (Suspended)
Mudryk remains out due to a suspension over alleged consumption of a banned substance. Maresca has said: “The only thing I can say is that we are close to Mykhailo as a club, and we are trying to help him. In terms of an update, I don't have one.”
