Hide AdChilwell update
Chelsea are said to be open to the possibility of selling skipper Ben Chilwell this summer amid doubts over whether the England star will fit into Enzo Maresca’s style of play. Chilwell has also struggled with injury issues over recent years, making him a risky option.
According to The Athletic, Chelsea are open to selling the full-back for the right price amid reported interest from Manchester United. Further reports have claimed that the Red Devils are currently monitoring the situation.
Maresca recently explained his decision to start Malo Gusto over Chilwell during pre-season: “The reason why is because in this moment I need to see things. On the ball, Kiernan was in the position he used to play, as the left attacking midfielder. So we attacked a little bit more with Malo. But as I said, in this moment there are things I need to see for the rest of the season.
Lukaku boost
Chelsea may not have to wait as long as first thought to get some cash from Romelu Lukaku this summer. The Belgian has been cast aside and is currently up for sale having struggled for opportunities since returning on a £100million deal.
