Chelsea are back in action on Saturday as they look to return to winning ways.

The Blues were left frustrated during the week when they were held to a draw by a tricky Brentford side, and they will be looking to return to winning ways on Saturday with a key clash in the top four race. Graham Potter’s men face Manchester United at Stamford Bridge, and they have the chance to extend the gap over fifth-place United to four points.

In the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest transfer news and rumours surrounding Stamford Bridge.

Kvaratskhelia links

Chelsea are being linked with a move for Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

According to Napoli Magazine. both Chelsea and Manchester City are expressing an interest in signing the 21-year-old who is impressing in Serie A. The Georgian has scored seven and assisted eight in just 14 games so far this season, and he is attracting interest from the Premier League. The 21-year-old joined Napoli in the summer from Dinamo Batumi, but the report claims Napoli could find it difficult to keep hold of the winger. It will be interesting to see if anything comes of the reported interest in the January or next summer.

Bazanu chatter

The Blues are also said to be interested in a move for Southampton goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu. According to Simon Phillips’ Substack column, Chelsea are showing an interest in the 20-year-old, who is a new addition for Southampton, joining from Manchester City.

Despite his youth, Bazunu has already become the Saints number one and although Southampton have largely struggled so far this season, the stopper has caught the eye. Kepa Arrizabalaga has impressed for Chelsea of late, and they also have Edouard Mendy, so Bazanu would surely be a signing for a future, if they were to pull it off.
