Hide AdSesko 'could be on the move' when the summer rolls around - but Chelsea are not the only interested party in the equation, as Italian giants AC Milan are also thought to be interested in a transfer for the Slovenian international.
Regarding Sesko's availability in the summer, journalist Fabrizio Romano said [via FootballTransfers]: "Benjamin Sesko – he could be on the move and some big clubs are following him. Sesko has been linked with AC Milan but there’s no negotiation yet and many clubs are interested."
How would Benjamin Sesko improve the Chelsea squad?
Despite the vast swathes of money that Chelsea have thrown around since the arrival of American owner Todd Boehly, the Blues have inexplicably yet to sign a world-class striker. Their team is crying out for a focal point up top - nevertheless, as another transfer window passes us by, they have yet to add one to their squad.

Hide AdSesko is far from the finished product at the age of 20, but he has shown plenty of potential in his young career. Standing at 6ft 4, he brings an aerial threat that Chelsea do not currently have. His goalscoring leaves much to be desired - he has scored just five goals in 17 Bundesliga games this season - but as mentioned, he still has plenty of time to hone his skills in this department.
Sesko is not the only striker who Chelsea have been linked with in recent months. Ivan Toney, Dusan Vlahovic and Victor Osimhen have all been touted as potential purchases by the Blues - nevertheless, their need for a natural number nine remains apparent.
