Chalobah, Badiashile, Madueke: Full Chelsea latest injury news and expected return dates

Chelsea will be looking ahead to the Europa Conference League as they face a game against Copenhagen next time out on Thursday in the round of 16.
The Blues have lost three of their last four games under Enzo Maresca, however last time out they did record an impressive 4-0 win against struggling Southampton, who look destined for relegation to the Championship.

Hide AdMaresca will be keen for his side to win the Conference League as it will be their only shot at silverware for the rest of the season this year. But will he have any players back from injury on Thursday?
Trevoh Chalobah
Centre-back Chalobah had to be substituted off during Chelsea’s 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa late in February. He suffered a lower back injury, and missed the win against Southampton due to it.
However, he is currently being assessed ahead of Thursday’s game and could make a return. Maresca said before the Southampton game: “It’s good that it’s not a big injury, but on the other hand, it is a shame because we lose another player. He won’t play vs Saints, but we will see how he is for the next one.”
Expected return date - Thursday 6 March vs Copenhagen (A)
Benoit Badiashile
Fellow centre-back Badiashile is also a doubt for the game on Thursday as he is dealing with a hamstring injury.

Romeo Lavia
Midfielder Lavia is dealing with a hamstring injury that he suffered during a game against Bournemouth in January straight after returning from a previous similar hamstring issue.
He won’t be available for the next couple of games, but is getting closer to full fitness. Maresca said in mid-February that he could be looking at a return after the international break.

He is on a similar timeline to Lavia, but has only been dealing with his injury since the 3-0 defeat to Brighton in February.

Nicolas Jackson
Striker Jackson suffered a hamstring injury last month which is due to keep him out until after the international break, leaving Maresca without a number nine to play at the moment.
