Chelsea handed triple injury boost ahead of Fulham Premier League game but Nkunku nightmare confirmed

Chelsea could have Ben Chilwell, Carney Chukwuemeka and Benoit Badiashile all fit together for the first time this season.

Chelsea have confirmed left-back Ben Chilwell could be available for the first time in over 100 days after returning to first-team training ahead of Fulham. Midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka could also be available for the first time since injuring his knee against West Ham in the second game of the season.

The former Aston Villa man has started the campaign on form and even scored his first senior goal against the Hammers before disaster struck, and he's been out of action since. French defender Benoit Badiashile, who has been battling fitness and hasn't played in the last month could also return having been in training all week.

Pochettino confirmed the trio had been back in training and could play a part this weekend if everything goes according to plan. He told reporters: "Good news about Chilwell and Ben [Badiashile] and we need to assess Carney Chukwuemeka to see if he's available. But Chilwell and Badiashile will sure be involved in the squad tomorrow."

It is not all good news though as the Chelsea boss revealed forward Christopher Nkunku hasn't trained in the last 10 days and will not be involved this weekend.

On Nkunku the Chelsea boss said: "I remember my first conference after he suffered a small issue. Now I think it's nearly 10 days he has not trained – in between eight and 10. After six months, we were waiting for him. He was so close to feeling comfortable. I am of course disappointed with that. We want him as soon as possible to be involved again."

Blues boss Mauricio Pochettino has won all five of his Premier League meetings with Fulham so he'd hope his team gets back to winning ways and ease the pressure that has been caused by the defeat to Championship side Middlesbrough.
