Chelsea prepare 'fresh offer' for winger as European giants make 'contact' over transfer
Chelsea are preparing to face Wolves in the Premier League on Monday night, hoping to end a stretch of four league games without a win. The Blues have now dropped out of the top four, and they need to get back to winning ways before they find themselves chasing down Newcastle United from an even further disadvantaged position.
Injuries haven’t helped Chelsea, and Enzo Maresca will be keeping his eyes out for possible signings, with outgoings also likely. Here we round up all the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding Stamford Bridge.

Hide AdHernandez offers
Chelsea are said to have made a move to sign talented Spanish youngster Yeremay Herndandez. The Deportivo La Coruna star has been linked with a number of European big-hitters, and CaughtOffside now say the Blues are stepping up their efforts in a bid to agree a deal.
According to the report, Chelsea’s initial offer was rejected, with La Coruna holding out for a fee closer to the player’s £16.9million release clause, but a new proposal is said to be in the works. Hernandez is a 22-year-old winger who has eight goals and three assists in 18 games so far this season. He is a two-time Spain under-21s international.
Felix ‘interest’
AC Milan are said to have submitted interest in Chelsea star Joao Felix, who has struggled to convince Maresca of his starting quality this season, Di Marzio say Milan have already made contact with the Blues to see if a deal can be done.
Chelsea are said to be turning down any loan proposals at this stage, so it would need to be a permanent deal or a loan with a promise of a future permanent deal. Chelsea paid £44.5million for Felix as recently as the summer, so they will want to recoup that transfer fee if they are to sell.

Hide AdMaresca on Chelsea’s form
Chelsea boss Maresca has been speaking about his side’s poor run of league results as they look to rectify their disappointing form against Wolves. “I have said since the start of the season, it is normal that people judge us on results,” he said in his pre-match press conference.
“We are in a business where you are judged on the results, but if we judge the performance of the team I am happy because we create chances. I am not happy about the second half against Bournemouth – there is no reason why we changed from the first half to the second half – but in the previous game against Palace, you can see the performance is there.
“Sometimes you don’t win the game, but it is not only Chelsea. If you look at the other teams, except Liverpool, they have all had some moment in the season when they lost two, three or four games in a row. So for sure I would like to win more games, but it’s okay.”
