10 of the best pictures of Chelsea fans at Stamford Bridge as Cole Palmer scores winner vs Manchester United

A look at some of the best pictures from Chelsea’s terrific 4-3 win over Manchester United.

Since signing for Chelsea in the summer for a fee of £42.5m, Palmer has hit the ground running at Stamford Bridge but not even he could have dreamt of the excitement his first hattrick at the club would bring to the fans.

The former Manchester City star has now scored 16 league goals for Chelsea and his hattrick sealed a 4-3 win in one of the best games in Premier League history at Stamford Bridge. To put into perspective, only Erling Haaland has scored more league goals than the Chelsea forward.

In an extraordinary game, Manchester United led 3-2 at 99 minutes 17 seconds on the clock. Still, Palmer held his nerves to score a penalty won by substitute Noni Madueke before his deflected shot beat Andre Onana to send Chelsea fans into absolute delirium.

In a game that swung from one end to the other, Chelsea fans sang for Thiago Silva after conceding the third goal, booed Mason Mount, who made his return to Stamford Bridge and then celebrated a last-gasp winner that will stay long in their memory.

They would have seen their league season abruptly end with a defeat to Manchester United at home, but instead, they are now just two points behind seventh-placed West Ham United with two games in hand. It’s all looking bright and if you add the fact that they still have to play Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-final, the picture of the campaign looks even brighter.

So on a positive night at Stamford Bridge, here are some of the best pictures of fans at the stadium for the game.
