Ex Premier League striker speaks on Charlton future
Charlton Athletic striker Connor Wickham is yet to talk to the club about his future at The Valley with his short-term deal set to expire at the end of the season.
The former Crystal Palace and Sunderland man has made three appearances for the Addicks, scoring in the 1-1 draw with Cambridge United last time out.
Speaking after the match, Wickham admitted that although talks hadn't yet taken place, he was impressed with the 'exciting time' currently at Charlton. He told London News Online: “I’m really happy not just to be here but to be playing football again and scoring goals. If that’s what gets me something for next season, then that is what gets me something for next season. All I can do is what I can control. That’s my main focus at the moment.

They do have the capabilities to go up. If I’m part of that, it’ll be something we’ll sit down and discuss when that time comes up.”
Portsmouth face big contract decision
Interested parties could be on alert as Portsmouth boss John Mousinho admitted the club is yet to make a decision on the future of promising youngster Koby Mottoh.
The 16-year-old, who has featured five times this season, was due to be given two weeks of first-team training to impress but that has been delayed due to involvement in the under-18's Youth Alliance Cup.
Mousinho told The News: ‘We haven’t done anything with Koby yet, we wanted to get the cup final out of the way. He hasn’t been with the first team recently because we wanted him to focus on the cup final and get back with the youth team, while we also have 24 pros training at the moment.

After that we were fully focused with Bolton, so now we’ll need to sit down with the Academy and Koby and think about what we’re going to do."
