Latest on in-demand Bristol Rovers striker
The future of Bristol Rovers striker Aaron Collins remains up in the air with just over a day left of the January transfer window. Charlton Athletic had submitted a bid for the forward last week but saw it rejected by their League One rivals.
Collins wasn't named in the Gas' squad for the visit of Oxford United on Saturday amid transfer interest. Bolton Wanderers are also working on a deal for the player and have seen a bid of £600,000 rejected.
The 26-year-old is said to be valued at £1 million by Bristol Rovers having registered 38 goals and 24 assists for the side in 139 appearances since 2021. Bolton manager Ian Evatt has confirmed that the club has returned with a second bit for the player which the Bristol Post will be a 'take it or leave it' deal - the fee is thought to be just shy of £1 million.

Portsmouth continue January shopping spree
Portsmouth look set to continue their January shopping spree with a move for Carlisle United midfielder Owen Moxon before the window slams shut on Thursday night.
That's according to The Sun reporter Alan Nixon, who claims that a deal is in the process of being agreed between the league leaders and Carlisle. Blackpool were also linked with a deal but now play second fiddle to Pompey.
Moxon has refused to sign a new deal in the North West and Carlisle are facing the decision of either cashing in now or risk losing the star for free come the summer. Portsmouth want extra midfield bite having seen Joe Morrell come off injured against Oxford United on Tuesday night.
