Charlton Athletic and Leyton Orient confirm League One play-off ticket news as Wycombe send 'revenge' message

Charlton Athletic saw their League One play-off semi-final opponents change in the second half of the third tier fixtures on Saturday afternoon. Wycombe Wanderers saw a 1-0 lead slip against Stockport County at Adams Park to lose 3-1.
That meant that the Chairboys finished in fifth place and will take on the Addicks, who have already beaten the side twice this season. Nathan Jones’ men beat Wycombe Wanderers 4-0 on the road just last month and also registered a 2-1 win at The Valley in December.

Hide AdWycombe boss Mike Dodds is all too aware of the pressure his side has to ensure that doesn’t happen again and has sent some fighting talk in the direction of the Addicks. He said: “There will be a narrative as they have beaten us twice – I appreciate that.
“We will use that as fuel to say: ‘These next two games are really important.’ They will be what a Nathan Jones side is – fired up for it and 100 miles an hour. They will be in our face and we know what is coming.
“Regardless of revenge, if that’s what it is for those two fixtures, we have three games here to to get us out of this league. We will do everything we can to do that.”
