Transfer talk at Brentford this January window is centred around star man Ivan Toney rather than any potential incomings in West London.
After five Premier League fixtures, Bees supporters will no doubt be hoping to see some reinforcements through the doors at the Gtech Community Stadium before the end of the month to ensure Thomas Frank's men stay out of a potential relegation battle.
There's also work to be done behind the scenes with current first-team players. Some of the side's key stars are set to see their contract deals expire this summer with Brentford facing the choice of extending those terms, cashing in on players now or accepting they leave on a free at the end of the season. Here are the six stars currently out of contract this year.
1. Josh Dasilva
Signed a contract extension until 2024 in October 2020.
2. Neal Maupay
Maupay's season-long loan from Everton will expire this summer but Brentford have the option to make it permanent.
3. Shandon Baptiste
Signed a four-and-a-half year deal in January 2020 and the club have an option to trigger an extra year.
4. Saman Ghoddos
