They are in action on Saturday in a friendly against Boreham Wood before clashes against Stuttgart, Wolfsburg, Brighton and Hove Albion and Real Betis.

Their first game of the new campaign is away at Leicester City on 7th August.

Frank has provided this transfer update to the official club YouTube channel:

“Hopefully sooner rather than later we have a new player or players who I can speak about and tell in detail how excited I am to work with them, to develop them and push them to the next level.

“There is a lot of hard work going on, a lot of long hours, but we are working hard on it.”

Who is on Brentford’s radar?

Brentford want to sign highly-rated winger Keane Lewis-Potter from Hull City.

The Athletic reported last week that the Premier League side have made a bid to land the Championship ace.

Lewis-Potter, 21, has made 122 appearances for the Tigers already so far in his career and has chipped in with 30 goals and 12 assists.

The Bees are also working on a deal to lure full-back Aaron Hickey to the Brentford Community Stadium this summer.

He is currently on the books of Italian side Bologna and has played for the Italian club since joining them from Hearts in 2020.

The Scotland international is edging closer to a return to the UK and Sky Sports have reported he will cost Brentford in the region of £14million plus add-ons.
