Brentford predicted XI to face Fulham: Frank has big decision to make in midfield

Brentford are back in action this weekend against London rivals Fulham at Craven Cottage.

The Bees have made an impressive start to the new Premier League season and have picked up four points from their opening two games.

They drew 2-2 with Leicester City on the opening day before thumping Manchester United last time out.

Here is how Brentford could line up against Fulham....

GK: David Raya

He has some fresh competition for his place between the sticks from summer signing Thomas Strakosha.

RB: Aaron Hickey

The Scotland international has impressed since his switch from Bologna earlier in the transfer window.

CB: Pontus Jansson

The former Leeds United man has made 105 appearances for the London club to date.

CB: Ben Mee

He scored his first goal for Thomas Frank’s side against Manchester United last weekend.

LB: Rico Henry

As expected, the ex-Walsall ace has started both games so far this term at left-back.

CM: Mathias Jensen

His impressive pressing earned him a goal against Erik ten Hag’s side last time out.

CM: Christian Norgaard

He is now in his fourth consecutive season with Brentford.

CM: Josh DaSilva

The left-footed midfielder has scored two goals in two games but Frank needs to decide whether to start him or the popular Vitaly Janelt.

RW: Bryan Mbeumo

He fired eight goals in all competitions last term and has already got one under his belt for this campaign.

ST: Ivan Toney

The striker remains a Brentford player and everyone associated will be hoping that remains the case when the window slams shut at the end of the month.
