Brentford are reportedly interested in AZ Alkmaar left-back Milos Kerkez. The Bees are being linked with a new name ahead of the summer.

According to Portuguese news outlet Record (via Sport Witness), Thomas Frank’s side are keeping tabs on the youngster. However, the report suggests he is a man in-demand with fellow Premier League clubs Leeds United and Wolves said to be keen along with European outfits such as Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, Benfica and Wolfsburg.

Brentford could see Kervez as someone to compete with Rico Henry in the long-term. The 19-year-old has caught the eye in the Eredivisie over recent times and the fact a lot of clubs are being linked suggests he could have a bright future in the game ahead of him.

The Hungary international, who has four caps under his belt so far, only joined AZ last year. He has already established himself as a first-team regular and they may face a battle to keep hold of him in the next transfer window.

Kervez was snapped up by AC Milan in 2021 from Győr but didn’t make a senior appearance for the Serie A giants. Brentford are now said to be in the frame to land him but face competition.
