Brentford impressive net worth against Man Utd, Chelsea and Newcastle United as accounts published

Brentford published their impressive financial accounts on Wednesday morning.

The Premier League has this week approved Sir Jim Ratcliffe's purchase of a 25% stake in Manchester United after the deal was agreed on Christmas Eve last year.

The news brings about an end to the Red Devils takeover saga with the Glazers retaining a majority stake in the football club. It comes in a week when London outfit Brentford have also published their accounts.

The Bees are owned by businessman Matthew Benham and the club reported a record turnover of £166.5 million and a boost in player transfers and wages from £4.6 million to £5.6 million.
