Brentford are sweating over the status of key striker Ivan Toney after their top scorer went off with a knee injury in their game against West Ham this weekend. The Bees ended up winning 2-0 at the London Stadium.
The London club will need to bring in a new forward this month to give them more competition and depth up top. They have the chance to now with the January transfer window open.
Brentford have enjoyed the first few months of this season and find themselves in 10th place after picking up 23 points from their opening 17 games. They are only five points away from 5th place Liverpool at the moment.
