Arsenal fans were in stitches online as a video of striker Gabrial Jesus taking his driving lesson emerged, but none were laughing more than Gunners midfielder Jorginho.

It was the former Chelsea man who filmed the video of his teammate working hard to shed the L plates and couldn't hold back the laughter as he shared it to his Instagram story.

Jorginho heckled out the window as he spotted Jesus pulling up at the Arsenal training centre in a car from Hadley School of Motoring. He shouted: "Hello. What are you doing?"

A sheepish-looking Jesus rolled down the window to reveal himself set alongside a chucking instructor as he gave Jorginho a bashful thumbs up. "I'm practising," he stuttered before asking if he might be able to learn in the midfielder's car.

It's impossible to make out what vehicle Jorginho filmed the video in, but he is known to drive a red Ferrari 812 which retails from an eye-watering £260,000.

Jesus' threat to practice his parallel parking and emergency brakes in the Arsenal star's fancy wheels was enough to put an end to the light-hearted encounter.

Hadley School of Motoring covers areas of London, Hertfordshire & Hampshire and has been doing so since 1982. The school boasts a 70% first-time pass rate and is owned by an Arsenal fan who has shared snaps following the team online.

As the video circulated online, football fans were quick to share the hilarity of seeing a footballing superstar taking part in such a mundane activity.

One fan said: "I didn't expect this from a football superstar. Driving lessons at 25. Ha!"

Another joked: "Bet he’s had a blinder of a time on the gov website trying to book a test."

Meanwhile, others admitted it made them "feel better for not being able to drive at 25" and that the player was just like them.

Jesus hasn't featured for Arsenal since November as he battles a knee injury, although has hinted at a possible return against Sporting Lisbon.

One fan wittily noted: "His knee must be fine doing all that clutch control."
