Arsenal have four players remaining in the 2022 World Cup after Granit Xhaka was knocked out by Portugal last night. Switzerland suffered a 6-1 defeat to Fernando Santos’ side.

Aaron Ramsdale, William Saliba and Bukayo Saka will all face off in Saturday’s quarter-final, while Gabriel Martinelli could feature as Brazil take on Croatia the day before. Matt Turner, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Thomas Partey all saw their campaigns ended prematurely, while Ben White and Gabriel Jesus were forced to leave their respective squads.
