Will any of them receive new contracts before the end of the season? We'll be examining that question as we progress through the list.

Which Arsenal players are out of contract in the summer?

The most striking name on the list of Arsenal players who are set to be released in the summer is Jorginho, who joined the club from Chelsea in the 2023 January transfer window. He has made 23 Premier League appearances for the Gunners since then, but has yet to score a goal in England's top division.

While Jorginho provides a solid squad option, he has seen his position in the pecking order fall since the arrival of Declan Rice. At the age of 31, it's very possible that he could be released - even though there is an option to extend his deal for an additional year in his contract.

Mohamed Elneny is in a similar position to Jorginho. He is also 31 - and he has also seen his playing time decrease after Rice signed for the Gunners. Unlike the Italian, he does not have a one-year extension clause in his contract - as such, it's likely he will be released.

Cedric Soares is also set to be released in the summer. Arsenal have struggled with injuries at the back this season - nevertheless, Cedric has still struggled for playing time. Due to this, it would be a surprise to see him pen a new deal at the Emirates Stadium.
