It was a positive start for London’s three European football hopefuls.

Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham all made promising starts to their Premier League campaigns over the weekend.

The Gunners got things underway with a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace on Friday evening before the Blues saw off Everton in a 1-0 victory at Goodison Park.

Spurs perhaps put in the most comprehensive performance of the lot, however, beating Southampton 4-1 in an assured display.
