Pundit issues 'wonderful' verdict on Arsenal star after 'no doubt' Wolves win

Arsenal opened their Premier League account with a hard-earned win on Saturday, seeing off Wolves at the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners edged their visitors with goals from Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka, with the two also taking it in turns to assist each other.
Saka delivered a teasing cross for Havertz to flick home with his head in the first half, and the German started an attack by playing the ball wide for Saka late in the game, with the winger cutting inside and finding the near post with a powerful effort.

Hide AdIt was far from a perfect performance from the Gunners, who were rust at times, as you would expect, but they managed to keep a clean sheet and got the win in relatively comfortable fashion. Saka undoubtedly stood out, causing so much danger cutting inside, and that’s something pundit and former striker Chris Sutton highlighted.
“It’s a wonderful finish and we know Saka is such a skilful player,” Sutton said on Final Score, via the BBC Sport website. “I blame Ait-Nouri though. You can’t let him inside where he is at his strongest.”
‘No doubt about the result’
Fellow pundit Paul Robinson also had his say on the win, praising Arsenal for responding after a flat spell in the game. “Arsenal have played well in patches,” he said on Radio 5 Live. “There was one part in the game where Wolves were working back into it and creating some chances. But Arsenal re-asserted their dominance and took control once more with that second goal. Since then there has been absolutely no doubt about the result.”
Arsenal are back in action next Saturday when they face Aston Villa in a tricky away clash. Villa will be competing in the Champions League this season and have built a strong squad, adding Ian Maatsen, Jaden Philogene, Andre Onana, Ross Barkley and many others this summer.
