Arsenal claimed a dramatic 3-1 win over old rivals Manchester United ahead of the international break - with VAR playing a key role in the outcome.

The Gunners had a penalty overturned after it was ruled there was no foul on Kai Havertz by Aaron Wan-Bissaka just after the hour. The Red Devils thought they had claimed all three points at the Emirates Stadium only to see Alejandro Garnacho’s late finish chalked off for a marginal offside.

VAR has been a constant talking point since its introduction into the Premier League for the 2019-20 season. And following Sunday’s late drama at the Emirates, we have looked at how the early table might look without the involvement of Stockley Park.
