Premier League table without VAR: Where Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea and West Ham would sit

A dramatic London derby between Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur on Monday night closed out an incident-packed round of Premier League fixtures.

VAR was heavily involved as Chelsea won 4-1 against nine-man Spurs, who saw Cristian Romero sent off after a VAR review in the first half and Destiny Udogie dismissed for a second yellow card in the second 45. Chelsea had two goals chalked off, as VAR intervened on a Raheem Sterling goal after a handball was spotted while the on-field officials ruled out Moisés Caicedo's strike after adjudging Nicolas Jackson to be offside and interfering with play.

Dejan Kulusevski gave Spurs an early lead but Cole Palmer's penalty and Jackson's second-half hat-trick earned maximum points for Chelsea. Elsewhere, Arsenal lost 1-0 at Newcastle United with Mikel Arteta hitting out at the refereeing decisions in that game.

West Ham were beaten 3-2 at Brentford while Fulham suffered a late loss to Manchester United but there was plenty to smile about for Crystal Palace as they won 2-0 at Burnley.
