What Mikel Arteta has said about next season

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta says the planning for next season has already started. he said: “(The planning starts) Now because tomorrow we already have some things that we are discussing and making decisions. Everything that is planned for pre-season and the first few weeks of the season has already been done two or three months ago, so we are now really good. And the moment I start to think about that, I feel goosebumps and excitement, and this is a really good sign always.”

What Enzo Maresca has said about next season

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca is not yet thinking of the new season, saying: “Now, I’m not thinking about next summer, to be honest. Today is a day that we have to be happy because we brought this club where this club has to be in the most important European competition. And we did today and this is the most important day for them. Now from tomorrow we start to prepare for Wednesday final and then we have days to see for next season.”

What Ange Postecoglou has said about next season

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou has said: "We've got a really young group of players. And you can talk to them about success and what it means, but until they feel it, it doesn't become real. I've got no doubt that all those boys tonight, having this feeling (of winning a trophy) will want it again. And to get it again they're going to have to make similar sacrifices. They've climbed the mountain now. They know what it takes to get to where we are.

“I think that does, it accelerates the opportunities to build a team who can be successful, and play at a high standard for years to come. As I said yesterday, I still feel there's a lot of work to be done, I think that's quite obvious. But not as much work as people may think. People can bang on about 20 league defeats and where we are, but they're missing the point of what we're trying to build, or what I'm trying to do anyway. I really feel that tonight can be a great platform for us to kick on."

What Marco Silva has said about next season

Speaking about his future and next season, Fulham boss Marco Silva said: “I’m not here to talk about speculation. Speculation is always there. If the football club where you are and the players perform well, it’s normal they are going to speak about the manager and about the players.

“That is not something that I can control. And if I can’t control it I don’t lose any time talking about it and waste energy doing that. I am under contract with the club and of course I’ve been in planning with the board (for) next season.

“Everything on track and the plan is there. We have the next two months to prepare for the season as best we can. If I’m under contract with the club and if I’m planning with the club the next season, of course I expect to be here.”

What Thomas Frank has said about next season

Brentford boss Thomas Frank would only speak about this season, saying: "Before the season if you said we finished 10th, people would've said it's impressive, and there's probably a few clubs below us who would take top 10. It's impressive - two times in four seasons we have finished in the top 10.

"We have scored a record number of goals for us, a front three who have scored 50 goals. To have a 20-goal goalscorer in the Premier League, two out of four seasons (Mbeumo and Ivan Toney), a club who are not a top-three or four club, it's something to be proud of."

What Graham Potter has said about next season

West Ham boss Graham Potter has said: “Your phone's on and you're doing different stuff. [Head of Recruitment] Kyle [Macaulay] has been busy, and we've all been working as a Club. We need to plan, we need to reflect, we need to make the right decisions, in terms of what we want to do going forward, and it's going to be an exciting, interesting summer.

“I think, in an ideal world, you want to do things early [in the transfer market], but sometimes it's not like that. You have to be patient. Again, you have to do the right things rather than the quick things. If we can do anything, we will. But, at the same time, I think making the right decision, aligned together, is the focus for us.”

What Oliver Glasner has said about next season

Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner has said: “I think we have not reached our ceiling as a team, definitely not, but therefore it needs really hard work and also always being ready to invest in every single training, every single game.

“Now it’s off, now it's not thinking about football for a few weeks, and then we’ll prepare to be ready for the start of the season. And then again, I never think about which position we will have at the end of the season or whatever: it's just how can we raise our performance, and again in every single game I can see enough to do.”
