Premier League 2024 summer net spend table as Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham and rivals ranked

The summer transfer window is now over and done with after a late night on Friday night which saw a number of London clubs require Premier League deal sheets to push through transfers after the 11pm cut-off points. Arsenal and Chelsea were among those teams, with Raheem Sterling joining the Gunners on loan, while the Blues snapped up Jadon Sancho on a loan with an obligation to buy from Manchester United.
Elsewhere, Reiss Nelson joined Fulham on loan and Crystal Palace landed Trevoh Chalobah. There were many more deals done across London, too, with the 2024 summer deadline proving to be the busiest for a number of years as far as the capital clubs are concerned.

What to take from the table
Once again we see Chelsea making a big loss with their spend, although their spending bill has been balanced better than previously years thanks to a number of exits. Arsenal will be pleased to have kept their losses under £25million Stirling while strengthening in all positions but for the striker spot. That is good going.
Brentford and Fulham are at a similar level, while Tottenham and West Ham’s big spending and lack of big exits has left them with a big loss this summer. The Hammers could only manage to offload players on loan for the most part. Palace are arguably one of the winners of the window after snapping up a number of new players on deadline day. They lost Michael Olise but signed Eddie Nketiah, lost Joachim Andersen but signed both Maxence Lacroix permanently and then Trevoh Chalobah on loan. While keeping Marc Guehi, the Eagles made a profit while arguably getting stronger.
