Chelsea

Edson Alvarez

According to De Telegraaf, Chelsea have launched a £43 million bid for Alvarez.

While his current club Ajax are understood to be reluctant to sell, it is suggested that the Mexico international is eager to force through a move in the coming hours, with Dutch reports claiming that the midfielder has gone on strike in an effort push through his exit.

Ibrahim Sangare

Another midfielder on Chelsea’s radar is Ibrahim Sangare.

The Evening Standard claim that the PSV Eindhoven star is the “new name” on the Blues’ transfer wishlist

However, at this stage, a deal seems even harder to complete than Edson Alvarez’s arrival would be.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

The former Arsenal striker looks as if he could be on his way to Stamford Bridge before tonight’s transfer deadline.

According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, Chelsea are on the verge of an agreement to sign the forward from Barcelona, in a bid worth around £6.5 million, plus Marcos Alonso.

The proposed contract offer on the table for Aubameyang is understood to be two years in length, with the option of a third.

Ornstein claims an agreement is “moving towards conclusion”.

Arsenal

Danilo

Arsenal are understood to be in the market for a new midfielder today, and have explored the possibility of signing Danilo from Brazilian outfit Palmeiras.

A £20 million bid has reportedly been submitted, but Football.London claim that a deal could be difficult to conclude, with his current club reluctant to sell.

Negotiations could, however, be revisited in January should the Gunners fail to secure a move in the coming hours.

Douglas Luiz

Another Brazilian midfielder on the Gunners’ radar is Luiz.

The Aston Villa star is being heavily linked with an exit today, and has emerged as a prime target for Arsenal as they look to bring in reinforcements, according to the Evening Standard.

Villa could be forced to sell as he has less than one year to run on his current contract.

Mykhaylo Mudryk

According to Italian journalist Rudy Galetti, Arsenal are hoping to strike a deal for Mudryk, who currently plies his trade for Shakhtar Donetsk.

The winger has been dubbed “The Ukrainian Neymar” by some on account of style of play, but is also said to be attracting interest from Brentford.

The Bees are understood to be willing to break their club transfer record to snap up the 21-year-old, as per The Guardian.

Tottenham Hotspur

Dan James

James has emerged as something of a shock target for Tottenham in recent days.

The Leeds United attacker has been touted for a potential switch to north London, and according to the Evening Standard, is still expected to leave Elland Road before this evening.

A move to Spurs is understood to be unlikely, however, despite fresh talks seemingly being in the pipeline.

Hakim Ziyech

Another option on Spurs’ shortlist is Chelsea winger Ziyech.

Football.London claim that the Blues are open to selling the 29-year-old if a suitable offer comes in, while the Evening Standard suggest that Tottenham are willing to provide him with an escape route.

Adedire Mebude

One further potential option is Manchester City starlet Mebude.

A relative unknown to many, the teenager is yet to make a senior appearance for the Premier League champions, but has seemingly caught the eye in north London.

Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano wrote on his personal Twitter account: Man City’s talented winger Adedire Mebude is attracting interest from Tottenham and Club Brugge. City want to keep him but decision will be made soon.”
