Nicolas Pepe’s time at the Emirates is coming to an end with both French side Nice and 2016 Premier League winners Leicester all widely reported to be eyeing the Ivorian star.

Pepe was signed to lead the new look Arsenal, but after three seasons, it’s hard to tell if he lacks the quality or the just the temperament to succeed at the Emirates.

Every now and then, he will reminds everyone why he was such a big star in the French league but a cutting lack of consistency has seen lose his place in the starting line-up and now there is the need to go and get minutes elsewhere.

The Gunners have made a flying start in the Premier League and manager Mikel Arteta is plotting a move for Wolves man Pedro Neto, according to Football.London.

The Portuguese winger spent large parts of last season on the treatment table but when fit, he’s a menace to Premier League defenders.

Neto has been linked with big money moves to clubs in the Premier League and Europe but it is Arsenal who are now showing strong interest and leading the way to secure his signature.

He is seen as one of the best wingers in the game and is just at the right age where he can be guided to take his game to the next level.

Arsenal looking to build on strong start to the season

The Gunners have won their opening three games in the Premier League for the first time since 2005.

Their form is a sharp contrast to when they lost their first three games last season and where sat bottom of the Premier League.

The signing of Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus has lifted everyone and there is feeling that the addition of a player with the quality Pedro Neto will be the final cog to make the team title contenders.
