Liverpool head coach Arne Slot has several injury issues to deal with when picking his team to face Arsenal in a huge Premier League clash this weekend.
Several first team players were spotted missing from training by LiverpoolWorld as the Reds prepared for midweek Champions League action against RB Leipzig on Tuesday. Liverpool play in Europe on Wednesday night before welcoming the Gunners to Anfield on Sunday in the 4:30 pm kick-off.

Liverpool stars missing from training
After that match, Slot admitted that it looked likely the player would not be available to face RB Leipzig. A complete absence at the AXA Training Centre could also suggest a race against the clock for fitness to take on Mikel Arteta's side.
The Portugal international is not the only headache for Slot. First choice goalkeeper Alisson Becker continues to miss out with a long-term hamstring injury while Harvey Elliott isn't expected back anytime soon as he recovers from a fractured foot.
Summer signing Federico Chiesa is also set to miss a fourth successive game midweek and is a doubt for the Arsenal clash too. The winger suffered a setback before Liverpool's 2-0 win over Bologna three weeks ago and was not spotted in the latest training session.

Arsenal injury problems
Arsenal will travel to Anfield with their own injury concerns. Takehiro Tomiyasu, Kieran Tierney and Martin Odegaard are all longer term problems.
There are question marks about the fitness of winger Bukayo Saka, too. The England international was a doubt for the meeting with AFC Bournemouth but was eventually left out the squad, and missed out in midweek too.
Defender William Saliba won't be able to take on Liverpool as he serves a one match ban for a red card picked up last weekend.
