Ipswich Town vs Arsenal final injury news as 13 ruled out and 1 doubt
All the final injury news surrounding Arsenal and Ipswich Town ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash.
Arsenal are back in action on on Sunday when they face Championship-bound Ipswich Town looking to keep up momentum for the Champions League semi-finals with PSG. The Gunners will prioritise Europe, between now and the end of the season, but they will not want to lose form.

As for the Tractor Boys, they are 14 points off safety with 18 points remaining, meaning they will realistically need to win all of the rest of their games while hoping Wolves pick up less than four points. Here we round up all the latest injury news ahead of this one.
Liam Delap - Doubt
McKenna has said: "He [Delap] has trained," McKenna explained. "I can't say he's absolutely clear yet, but he's safe to train. We've got some judgements to make going into the weekend.”
Wes Burns - Out
Burns is out for the rest of the season and likely until the end of the year with an ACL rupture. Kieran McKenna has said: “He had surgery to repair his ACL, and thankfully, it all went well. There wasn't too much damage to the other parts of the knee, so it was as positive as it could be.”
Chiedozie Ogbene - Out
Ogbene is also out for a season having torn his Achilles. McKenna said at the time: “Chiedozie had surgery yesterday. It was an Achilles tear. It's unlikely he'll play much, if any, football this season. Will be looking at preparing for next season.”
Sammie Szmodics - Out
Szmodics is hoping to return just before the end of the season after suffering an ankle injury.
Omari Hutchinson - Out
McKenna confirmed: "Omari, not ready yet. Still not fully training with the group, so we have to be careful with that one.”
Arijanet Muric - Out
There is no news on Muric’s return, with McKenna last saying: “Aro is seeing a specialist. He's looking at shoulder surgery. It's a different shoulder than what he has been having some treatment on, so it's completely unrelated and very unfortunate. If he has the [op], then that'll certainly be a good period of months.”
Jaden Philogene - Out
McKenna said ahead of this one: "He's seen a specialist this week. As we thought, it's an MCL injury. It doesn't look like he needs surgery, but it's pretty much definite that he won't play again for us this season. It's a big disappointment for us and for him. It's a challenge for the group, in terms of it being another one in that position.”
Kalvin Phillips - Out
Phillips remains out here, with McKenna saying: "Kalvin, no, not ready and and not training with the group."
Jorginho - Out
Jorginho will not be back here, with Arteta confirming: “Jorginho is not going to be available yet, he's still struggling with that incident.” Asked if the midfielder could return for PSG, Arteta added: “That's probably a question for the doctor, it's quite a specific and difficult matter. So I will leave that to the club to make an analysis.”
Gabriel Jesus - Out
Jesus is out for the season with a ruptured ACL, and he is not likely to return until late in 2025. A statement confirmed at the time: “Further to being substituted during our match with Man United, Gabriel Jesus has received extensive assessments, which have confirmed that he has sustained an injury to the ACL in his left knee.”
Takehiro Tomiyasu - Out
Tomiyasu is out for the season having had further surgery on his knee. A statement confirmed at the time: “Despite an initial procedure, followed by a RTT, Tomi continued to have issues with his knee, resulting in a further corrective surgical procedure. He will now begin his rehab programme, which is expected to be completed towards the end of this year.”
Kai Havertz - Out
Havertz suffered a potentially season-ending hamstring injury in February, Arteta has since teased that the striker could return before the end of the season. He said this week: “Semi-finals? I think that's too close. But if I have to bet on him earlier than expected, I would say yes. The way he works every day in that gym, pushing everybody, I don't think you can hold him much longer.”
Gabriel Magalhaes - Out
Gabriel is out for the season. A statement confirmed: “Gabi will undergo a surgical repair procedure to his hamstring in the coming days and immediately begin his recovery and rehabilitation programme, with the aim to be ready for the start of next season.”
Riccardo Calafiori - Out
Arteta has confirmed: “Riccardo as well probably is not going to be available.” On whether the Italian could be back for PSG, he added: “If everything goes well, I think so. Maybe a little bit earlier, so let's see. He's on the pitch already, he's done quite a lot of stuff and we just need to make the right steps now to make sure that when he's back he's in a good place to perform.”
