Hide AdWes Burns - Out
Burns is out for the rest of the season and likely until the end of the year with an ACL rupture. Kieran McKenna has said: “He had surgery to repair his ACL, and thankfully, it all went well. There wasn't too much damage to the other parts of the knee, so it was as positive as it could be.”
Chiedozie Ogbene - Out
Ogbene is also out for a season having torn his Achilles. McKenna said at the time: “Chiedozie had surgery yesterday. It was an Achilles tear. It's unlikely he'll play much, if any, football this season. Will be looking at preparing for next season.”
Sammie Szmodics - Out
Szmodics is hoping to return just before the end of the season after suffering an ankle injury.
Omari Hutchinson - Doubt
Hutchinson has a thigh injury that will keep him as a doubt for this one.

Hide AdArijanet Muric - Out
There is no news on Muric’s return, with McKenna last saying: “Aro is seeing a specialist. He's looking at shoulder surgery. It's a different shoulder than what he has been having some treatment on, so it's completely unrelated and very unfortunate. If he has the [op], then that'll certainly be a good period of months.”
Jaden Philogene - Out
McKenna said last week: “It looks like a blow, no doubt. He's opened up the inside of his knee. It'll be scanned. It's usually an MCL that gets some damage in that sort of tackle. I think he had one on his left side last season. We'll be hoping that the damage isn't too bad.”
Kalvin Phillips - Out
Phillips is also a fresh blow, with McKenna saying: “He's got an injury somewhere near his Achilles. It's been an unfortunate run for him after he had the cut [on his foot] that he sustained in the Forest game. We'll see how it goes.”
Jorginho - Out
Jorginho is unlikely to be risked here, with Arteta saying before the Real Madrid game: “Jorgi unfortunately, is not here after the incident over the weekend, he hasn't recovered so our thoughts are with him.”

Hide AdGabriel Jesus - Out
Jesus is out for the season with a ruptured ACL, and he is not likely to return until late in 2025. A statement confirmed at the time: “Further to being substituted during our match with Man United, Gabriel Jesus has received extensive assessments, which have confirmed that he has sustained an injury to the ACL in his left knee.”
Takehiro Tomiyasu - Out
Tomiyasu is out for the season having had further surgery on his knee. A statement confirmed at the time: “Despite an initial procedure, followed by a RTT, Tomi continued to have issues with his knee, resulting in a further corrective surgical procedure. He will now begin his rehab programme, which is expected to be completed towards the end of this year.”
Kai Havertz - Out
Havertz suffered a potentially season-ending hamstring injury in February, Arteta has since teased that the striker could return before the end of the season.
Gabriel Magalhaes - Out
Gabriel is out for the season. A statement confirmed: “Gabi will undergo a surgical repair procedure to his hamstring in the coming days and immediately begin his recovery and rehabilitation programme, with the aim to be ready for the start of next season.”
Arteta has confirmed that Calafiori remains out for now, but he should not be too far off.
