Tomiyasu praise
Ian Wright has been praising Takehiro Tomiyasu for his performance against Sevilla, dubbing him ‘dependable’. “I’m always happy to see Tomiyasu start because nothing is getting past him,” Wright said on his podcast.
“He’s so reliable, his strength, positional awareness, when he gets on the ball he has no problem passing the ball progressing it. It’s very rare you see anyone get past him, he’s just a dependable player, 8/10 every week.”

Ramos warning
Sevilla defender Sergio Ramos has warned Arsenal that the battle is not over yet after Tuesday night’s result in Andalusia. Four points now separate the two clubs at the halfway stage, but Ramos believes there is still plenty of hope for his side to progress, with Arsenal and Sevilla going head-to-head again in the next round of Champions League fixtures.
“A defeat that hurts, but it doesn’t end here. There are three games left and we will play with our heart and soul,” he wrote on Instagram. Ramos returned to Sevilla on a free transfer after leaving Paris Saint-Germain during the summer.
