Arsenal are expected to announce the signing of Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus from Premier League champions Manchester City this week after agreeing a deal with the champions.
The 25-year-old is poised to sign a five-year contract at the Emirates where he will join his fellow countrymen the Gabriels - Martinelli and Magalhaes.
The reported fee is reported to be in the region of £45million and Jesus has scored 58 goals in 159 games for the Citizens.
He has also had a good relationship with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta - from his time as City assistant coach - and the Gunners’ Brazilian sporting director Edu.
The striker joined Manchester City in 2017 as the long-term replacement for Sergio Aguero, but is now leaving the team just a season after the iconic Argentine left.
Arsenal are delighted to have secured the services of the Brazilian given he is only 25 and has the experience, pedigree and desire to be such a massive success at the Emirates.
He follows in the footsteps of some of the great Brazilians who have played for the Gunners, with some being absolutely monumental in the club’s history.
The likes of Gilberto Silva, who formed such a concrete partnership with Patrick Vieira, and Edu, who is now serving the club in a different capacity, but was such a big part of the Invincibles.
There have been some who just never got going, the likes of Willian and Denilson, despite showing so much promise when they walked through the door.
So with Jesus coming to the Emirates, here is a look back on some of the Brazilians who have lined up in the famous red and white.
