Fulham 'make decision' over Man Utd star as West Ham 'snubbed' by striker target
All the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding the Premier League clubs as the window hots up.
The new Premier League season is fast approaching, and we are now seeing business pick up quickly as clubs continue their tours around the world. Tottenham were back in action on Wednesday afternoon, winning a thrilling clash with a K-League XI 4-3, which Arsenal and Chelsea are in action on Wednesday night (or the early hours of Thursday morning UK time).

In the meantime, all of the Premier League clubs will be pushing to land new signings with the new season closing in. With that in mind, we have rounded up all the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding the top flight.
Abraham snub
Reported West Ham United target Tammy Abraham will reportedly hold off on a move as he looks to secure his ideal switch. The AS Roma striker has reportedly been offered a return to the Premier League with the Hammers as they look to strengthen up top, but a deal looks unlikely.
That’s because, according to Sky Sports Italia, Abraham is ‘holding out’ for a move to AC Milan. A move to Milan would mean Abraham lands Champions League football as well as having the chance to link up with former Chelsea teammate Fikayo Tomori.
Fulham ‘decision’
Fulham are said to have made a decision over their prime target in their bid to replace midfielder Joao Palhinha. According to GiveMeSport, the Cottagers have been considering Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay and Manchester City’s Kalvin Phillips as they look for a new holding midfielder.
The report claims Fulham have decided McTominay would be better suited to their style of play, and that they are willing to pay £30million to strike a deal. The problem is that United are likely to want £40million, meaning the Cottagers may need to keep Phillips as an option.
Cancelo ‘bid’
Barcelona are said to be readying a fresh bid to land Joao Cancelo, albeit on a temporary basis for now. According to The Daily Star, the Catalan club are proposing a loan deal that would see Cancelo return to the club, with a £7million loan fee and an £18million mandatory purchase option that would come into play next summer.
The deal would allow Barca to keep money aside to land Nico Williams or Dani Olmo, with Williams their priority option and Olmo the back-up option as Hansi Flick looks to bolster his wing spots. Cancelo has previously said: “I don’t know anything, but I would like to stay here. I grew up admiring Ronaldinho’s Barça, my idol. For me, it is a pride to wear this shirt.”
