All the latest transfer news surrounding Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham as transfer activity begins to pick up.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham continue to search for new signings as the summer continues to unfol. With the international tournaments over and done with, we should now see a spike in transfer activity, with players now more available to discuss possible deals.

Chelsea have already wrapped up a handful of incomings and outgoings, while Tottenham have managed some smart additions up to this point. Arsenal have been a little slower aside from making David Raya’s deal permanent, but they are expected to have a busy summer between purchases and sales. With that in mind, we have rounded up all the latest transfer news surrounding London’s three biggest clubs from transfer ‘insider’ Fabrizio Romano.

Lukaku waits for departure

Chelsea outcast Romelu Lukaku is expected to leave at some point this summer, and it seems he will wait to join Napoli as he bids to return to Italy. Romano has said: “Romelu Lukaku gives total priority to Napoli, waiting for them in case Victor Osimhen leaves the club.

“Lukaku wants to re-join Antonio Conte while Conte’s also very keen on signing Romelu. If Osimhen leaves, Napoli will be ready to advance in talks with Chelsea.”

Osimhen latest

While we are on Victor Osimhen, it seems the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea are unlikely to be the clubs that pull off a deal to land the superstar.

“Paris Saint-Germain are advancing in talks with Victor Osimhen's camp as their interest is now getting concrete,” Romano added. “Osimhen, keen on joining PSG and open to the move if they can agree on deal/fee with Napoli. He'd be very high on PSG list, if one centre striker left.”

Chelsea eye Mec

Chelsea are also being linked with a move for Gremio starlet Gabriel Mec as they continue to recruit some of South America’s brightest talent.

Romano tweeted: “Understand Chelsea have genuine interest in Gremio talent Gabriel Mec. He’s considered as one more gem from Brazil; Chelsea have opened talks to understand deal conditions. Born in 2008, Gabriel Mec is appreciated by many clubs but Chelsea are pushing, as per @rdimortal.”

Arsenal close in on Setford

Moving across London, Arsenal are said to be closing in on a deal for Ajax goalkeeper Tommy Setford, who represents England at youth level.

Romano has said: “Arsenal have booked medical tests for new young goalkeeper Tommy Setford who's set to join from Ajax. Agreement between Arsenal and Ajax for fee close to €1m after first proposal as exclusively revealed. Four year contract, confirmed.”

Doué decision incoming

Last but not least, Tottenham-linked midfielder Desire Doué is set to decide on his future in the coming days, but it seems he will go elsewhere, with Spurs appearing to focus on Eberechi Eze and others.

“Désiré Doué will decide which club he prefers to join in the next days, it’s not decided yet,” Romano said. “Paris Saint-Germain sent first proposal today and will push in talks again. Bayern first bid got rejected by Rennes but they’re planning to return and try again too.”
