Tottenham are in action on Saturday when they take on Vissel Kobe on Saturday as they kick-start their tour of Japan. In the meantime, the clubs will all be working on new deals as they look to strengthen their respective squads ahead of the new season, which kicks off in less than a month.

With that in mind, we have rounded up all the latest transfer news surrounding Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham from transfer ‘insider’ Fabrizio Romano. Take a look below.

Calafiori update

Arsenal are still pushing to sign Bologna defender Riccardo Calafiori, and it sems a deal is now all-but done with travel arrangements made. Calafiori is expected to link up with his new Arsenal teammates in the United States when the papers are signed and his deal is wrapped up.

Romano has said: “Riccardo Calafiori’s travel plan has been re-scheduled again with new plan — due to Arsenal and Bologna completing all formal documents only right now. Calafiori will travel from Roma to London early morning on Saturday. Medical in London, then travel to USA.”

Williams and Barca

Spain Euro 2024 star Nico Williams has been linked with moves to Arsenal and Chelsea, but it seems Barcelona still hold the upper hand amid a release clause worth around £48million.

“Barcelona’s stance has not changed: total priority to Nico Williams, no other signing will be activated until they get final answer from Nico,” Romano wrote. “Contacts took place for Dani Olmo but nothing will happen or advance until Nico deal is clarified. Same for João Cancelo.”

Gil exit likely

Tottenham look set to land a windfall through Bryan Gil, who is hoping to grab his opportunity of playing Champions League football with Spanish club Girona.

Romano said: “Understand Bryan Gil has got his heart set on a move to Girona and personal terms have been agreed. Player’s camp informed Tottenham that Bryan wants to join Girona at all costs. Negotiations between clubs over deal formula, talks still ongoing.”

Gil joined Tottenham on a deal worth £21.6million, and it will be interesting to see how much Spurs can get back.

Jorgensen to Chelsea update

Chelsea continue to push for a deal for Villarreal goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen as they look to upgrade and add serious competition for starting keeper Robert Sanchez. “EXCL: Chelsea are closing in on Filip Jørgensen deal, as agreement with Villarreal is at final stages,” Romano said.

“Chelsea have improved their proposal after initial bid worth €20m and they’re just discussing deal structure with Villarreal. Jørgensen has already agreed on contract. EXCLUSIVE: Chelsea send first bid in the region of €20m to Villarreal for Filip Jorgensen! It follows talks on player side as revealed earlier this week; he’s on the list as potential new GK for Maresca. Jorgensen, keen on the move.”
