Arsenal are still waiting to determine the extent of damage after winger Bukayo Saka limpedd out of their 5-0 thrashing of Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.

The England star is a key player for his club, helping them to a storming start to the campaign and is one of the in-form players for England going into the World Cup in Qatar. He was also in brilliant shape for England at  the Euro 2020 and missing the World Cup will be a massive blow to both player and country.

But according to the Daily Mail, England medics have been in touch with the Arsenal medical team and the early signs are that the winger is not in serious trouble and he is expected to be ready for the game against Chelsea this weekend. The Gunners are looking to see out the remaining games before the international break for the World Cup and hope to still be top of the Premierier League.

England manager Gareth Southgate is definitely a worried man at this moment with Reece James and Kyle Walker all still out with various degrees of injuries and Tammy Abraham woefully out of form at at Italian club AS Roma.  Saka has developed into one of the effective wingers in the Premier League and will be on the plane to Qatar if he can recover in time.

The good news for Saka is that Gareth Southgate does not name his England team until the November 10 which gives him enough time to be ready.
