Dinos Mavropanos is being lined up as a replacement for Manchester United bound defender Kim Min-jae at Napoli, LondonWorld understands.

The Greek international remains fully focused on preserving Stuttgart’s status in the Bundesliga, with two games left of the season away to Mainz and at home to Hoffenheim, and will make a decision on his future once the season is over.

Napoli are interested in signing the centre back who is rated at around £25million, while Inter Milan view the former Arsenal man as a replacement for Milan Skriniar, who looks likely to join Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent in the summer.

Manchester United are frontrunners to land highly-rated Napoli centre back Min-jae this summer, which would pave the way for Mavropanos to make a move to Serie A.

However, there is also interest from a number of Premier League teams including Fulham, Wolves and West Ham.

LondonWorld can reveal that Arsenal stand to benefit from Mavropanos’ potential exit after they inserted a sell-on clause into the deal, which saw the 25-year-old make his move from north London permanent last summer.

“As I have already emphasised several times, my thoughts are only on Stuttgart,” the 25-year-old said in February.

“I feel very comfortable in the club and in the city, which is why I focus exclusively on football every day. I can’t say what will happen in the future. But, as we all know, things can change very quickly in professional football.”

Mavropanos has made 26 appearances in the Bundesliga this season, scoring two goals and establishing himself as one of the most highly regarded defenders in German football.
