Arsenal vs West Ham early injury news as 5 ruled out and 2 doubts for Premier League clash
All the early injury news surrounding Arsenal and West Ham as they prepare to face off in the Premier League.
Arsenal and West Ham are back in Premier League on Saturday when they face off at the Emirates Stadium. It has been a busy week for the Gunners, who were in Champions League action on Wednesday night, defeating Olympiacos after closing the gap to Leaders Liverpool in the Premier League to two points.

Meanwhile, Nuno Espirito Santo will have been ensuring his new West ham side put in the hard yards to get to grips with his style in his first full week in charge. This will be a big test for Santo as he looks to build on a draw with Everton on Monday. Here we round up the early injury news surrounding Arsenal and West Ham as they prepare to face off.
Tomas Soucek - Out (Suspended)
Soucek was sent off recently and is in the midst of a suspension for serious foul play. He wlll be back after the international break.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka - Doubt
Graham Potter said last week before his sacking: “We'll still be without Aaron (Wan-Bissaka) with his stomach problem, but that's it. Other than that, we're all ready to go.” Wan-Bissaka could return from the abdominal issue, but it’s unclear at this stage.
Gabriel Magalhaes - Doubt
Gabriel picked up a fresh issue during the Olympiacos win. Arteta said: “Yeah, I think he's going to be OK. He felt something, I think it was a kick, I'm not sure, in the first half, and he was a bit uncomfortable, and towards the second half he was there. He could carry on, but we decided not to take any risks because he's played a lot of games, he's coming from a long-term injury as well, and we need to look after him.” Given the quick turnaround, Gabriel will be a doubt here.
Piero Hincapie - Out
The defender has a groin injury that will keep him out. Arteta said recently: “He picked up a little groin injury. We'll have to assess him again in the next few days to see how he goes. There's been a change of load, and he didn't really have a pre-season after the surgery that he had. We'll have to see in the next week or so how he is.”
Noni Madueke - Out
Arteta confirmed recently: “It looks he's going to be out for a few weeks. We don't know [how long] yet. We're probably going to have to scan him next week again. He felt something at the beginning of the match, he tried to carry on, and at half-time, he was too sore, so let’s see.”
Kai Havertz - Out
Havertz won’t be returning any time soon, with Arteta saying in his last update: “With Kai, we know that it will be months with him. I don't know if it can be weeks; you never know... We really miss him. Hopefully, he will be back, and back for the long term as well, so it is very important to look after that knee. So far, he's progressing pretty well.”
Gabriel Jesus - Out
Jesus remains out and will likely remain out until the new year. Arteta said recently: “He had a major surgery - it was going to take him many, many months. After discussing with the medical staff and understanding the schedule, we thought that he could be available between December and January. Hopefully, we did it wrong, and he comes back earlier.”
